One in four American adults are impacted by the effects of mental illness every year. Four million children and adolescents in this country suffer from a serious mental disorder that causes significant functional impairments at home, at school and with peers. Mental health disorders account for more disability than any other illness, including cancer and heart disease reports the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Care Ministry along with NAMI if Delaware-Morrow Counties, is hosting an open panel discussion on the topic of mental illness, on Monday, October 25th from 6-8pm. This event is open to everyone.
